Anne Hathaway multitasked while out and about in New York City this week. The 40-year-old longtime actress — who attended the Berlin Film Festival this month — chatted on the phone while holding a folder and notepad as she walked through the city.

The mother-of-two was seen by herself as she kept warm in a long black wool coat. The fashion-forward Hollywood fixture also wrapped a green silk scarf around her neck that had pink and cream accents.

Her lustrous, rich, dark hair was windswept as it flowed down her back in a natural texture. The cuffs of a long-sleeved blue and white finely striped shirt were visible underneath her outer layer. Anne, who's been married to actor Adam Shulman since 2012, carried a structured purple purse with gold hardware over her shoulder.

In her ears she wore small gold hoop earrings as she balanced her phone in her right hand and her paperwork under her left arm. Her medium wash blue denim was stylishly faded at the front and she punctuated them with cream and white sneakers.

The outing comes after Anne Hathaway dazzled in a mesh dress alongside at the She Came To Me premiere during the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival earlier this month.

She Came To Me 'follows a composer who suffers writer's block and rediscovers his passion after an adventurous one-night stand.' It stars Anne as Patricia Lauddem while Peter Dinklage portrays Steven Lauddem and Marisa Tomei is Katrina.

The upcoming film is written and directed by Rebecca Miller, best known for her work on the independent film Personal Velocity: Three Portraits. Broadway star Brian d'Arcy James and The Eddy actress Joanna Kulig also have parts in the movie.
