Anne Hathaway looks stunning in a retro navy dress while filming a scene on a beach in New Jersey for her upcoming film Mother's InstinctThe Princess Diaries actress wore a dark navy dress that fell just past her knees. The top was collared with a ribbed texture and buttons running down to the waistline. 

The Oscar winner could be seen smiling in between takes as she prepared to shoot a beach scene with her younger costar. The actress wore classic, elegant makeup, including light, peach-colored blush and matching colored lipstick. 

Her costar wore a dark striped short-sleeved T-shirt, gray pants and shoes to walk along the sand. The psychological thriller also stars Jessica Chastain. The two actresses play best friends and neighbors in the film, with husbands and sons the same age. 

They seem to lead perfect lives until a tragedy tears them apart, with the official logline stating, 'Life’s perfect harmony is suddenly shattered after a tragic accident.'
